Sablé Breton with Salted Caramel

Indulge in the perfect French treat – crisp, buttery Sablé Breton, crowned with a luscious layer of salted caramel. A heavenly balance of rich shortbread and sweet-salty caramel in every bite!

Serves : 4-6 people

Ingredients :    

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 170 g sugar
  • 200 g softened butter
  • 135 g flour
  • 8 g baking powder
  • 4 g salt

Method :

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (330°F).
  2. Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until pale, then add the butter and mix well.
  3. Add the sifted flour, salt, and baking powder and mix well.
  4. Pipe into small circles or silicone moulds to a height of 1 cm.
  5. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
  6. Serve the shortbread with our salted butter caramel.
